How we handle information on FishAds. Last updated August 17, 2026.
Account details you provide (name, email, company, phone, location, logo), listing content and photos, messages sent through contact forms, reports, watchlists, and saved searches. We also collect basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type for security and abuse prevention.
To run the marketplace: show ads, deliver inquiries to sellers, send optional match alerts, moderate content, prevent spam/fraud, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Listing details and seller profile information you publish are public. Contact messages are shared with the listing seller and may be visible to FishAds admins for moderation. We may use email/SMS infrastructure providers to deliver mail, and security tools (such as CAPTCHA) to protect forms.
We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed for moderation, legal obligations, and dispute handling. You can update profile details anytime from Profile settings.
You can edit or hide listings, update profile information, and request account help or privacy requests via our Contact form.
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS in production), password hashing, CSRF protection, and rate limits. No online service is perfectly secure—use a strong unique password.
